We are delighted to welcome the incredibly talented Hannah, founder of Lavender & Lilac Candle Co to our list of artisan suppliers. Hannah is a fellow independent business owner, based in our beautiful home county of Suffolk, and here is how she found her way to creating the wonderful Lavender & Lilac Candle Co.

Hannah says;

"When I left college, running a business was never what I pictured. It was always a dream but never seemed like it could be a reality. In a way, my business kind of happened by fate. 

When completing my business course, we were asked to make a product, research the market and sell this product both online and on our own market stall.

Candles were always an obsession of mine so automatically, that became my chosen product. Little did I know how hard it was to make a candle. 

Fast forward a few months. I was working a job as a receptionist that really wasn’t suited to me, and I was getting a lot of interest in my candles. At this point it wasn’t a business, it was just a hobby, but I always wondered, what if I could turn this into a business and with the interest from family, friends and colleagues, this gave me the push to turn my hobby into a business.

I took a leap and launched Lavender and Lilac Candle Co. and haven’t looked back. My business has gone from strength to strength. From being asked to be a part of the panel for WoMenta’s launch event to getting to the finals of the Young Traders Competition and trading at Stratford-upon-Avon. 

My passion for candle making and creating new home fragrances has grown massively. I love what I do and I am so happy to be able to share my fabulous products with you."
